Aquib Umar is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and holds a CEMS Master in International Management (MIM).

Before founding Karespot, Aquib spent several years in strategy and innovation consulting at Innovia Technology, where he worked with some of the largest companies in the world (including Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Procter & Gamble, Haleon, and PepsiCo) to identify, develop, and commercialise breakthrough innovations. His work spanned medical devices, consumer health, and FMCG, giving him rare cross-sector fluency across highly complex, regulated industries.

Aquib's core expertise lies in identifying high-value, often overlooked innovation opportunities in uncertain and ambiguous spaces, where the problem is not yet well-defined and the solution space is still open. This is precisely the kind of thinking he brings to Karespot, where he leads the development of new solutions, business models, and growth strategy in India's emerging metabolic health and weight management landscape.
